Data deletion
How to disconnect a social media account from sysco.one and have the data we received from it deleted.
1. Disconnect an account in sysco.one
A workspace admin can disconnect any connected social account at any time:
- Sign in to your workspace and open Social → Settings → Social accounts.
- Find the account and select Disconnect (the unplug icon), then confirm.
The account's access tokens are deleted immediately, and sysco.one can no longer read from or post to it. Posts you already published stay on the network; your workspace keeps its own record of them until you ask us to delete it.
2. Or remove sysco.one on the network
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → sysco.one → Remove. You can also tick the option to ask for your data to be deleted; Meta sends us that request automatically.
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → sysco.one → Remove.
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → sysco.one → Remove.
- TikTok: in the TikTok app's security settings, open the list of apps and services with access to your account and remove sysco.one.
- YouTube and Google Business Profile: Google account → Third-party apps & services → sysco.one → Delete all connections.
3. Ask us to delete your data
To have the data we received from a social network deleted (account details, posts, comments, messages and performance figures), email support@sysco.one with the subject "Data deletion request" and tell us:
- the network and the account, Page or channel name (or its link);
- your workspace address (for example
yourcompany.sysco.one), if you know it; and - your reference, if Facebook gave you one.
We will confirm we received it within 5 business days, may ask you to verify that you control the account, and will delete the data within 30 days, then confirm by email. Data we must keep by law (such as billing records) is kept only as long as required; encrypted backups expire on their own schedule.
If you are a contact of a business that uses sysco.one (for example you filled in its form or received its emails), please contact that business first; you can also write to us and we will pass your request on and help them respond. For anything else, see our Privacy Policy.
